Common Questions
→ Does it actually kill, or just repel?
Both. Ants and roaches you hit directly go down on contact. What's left on the surface keeps the next wave from following the trail in.
→ How strong is the smell, really?
Strong for the first few minutes, then it settles into "someone just made tea in here." If you don't like mint, you won't like this. We'd rather say that now.
→ I have a cat. Should I be worried?
Cats are sensitive to peppermint oil, and should not be used with them in the house. Spray surfaces only, keep your cat out of the room until it's fully dry, and don't spray bedding, bowls, or anything they lick. Used that way it's fine. Never spray it on an animal.
→ Will it stain or leave residue?
It dries clean with no sticky film. As with any oil-based spray, spot-test fabric, unsealed wood, and natural stone first.
→ How often do I need to reapply?
